    Default Mehran 1994 Missing Problem

    Dear All,

My car was excellent and very smooth on Petrol before installation of CNG, although it is smooth now on CNG but not perfect on Petrol, it feels jerky while pressing accelarator from initial and feels same while gear changing.
    New Plugs
    New Air Filter
    New Leads
Gas inlet directly injected in carborator.

Expert Opinion Required to fix this issue.

    Regards,

thats because timing must be fully advanced for cng
ask mechanic to retard it a bit so it runs better on petrol
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

dear waqas, timing is adjusted through distributer(where three plug cables originates), if it is not giving any problem on CNG than its timing must be very advanced, you need to readjust plug gap and timing for better performance on petrol

timing is advanced by rotating the distributer anticlockwise,
Dont change point system to CDI, it will create alot of problems.
Every mechanic can adjust and repair point but not the CDI.
What is the size of plug gap?

all is ok... ur car is fine .. even FF mehran and other cars do that ... no need to do any kind of alteration .. !!!
try to learn timing adjustment by ur self .. its not that difficult ..
changing distributor does not make any significant change !!! have fun
