    Default Suzuki Mehran Electrical problems

I have created this topic on behalf of Agha Akhlas.

I am having problems which I need to share with the members.
Sometimes my car Mehran 07 suddenly stops on way. I am experiencing starting problems when the engine is warm and previously active. The problem occurs when the engine stops suddenly in traffic. If any light, fan is on this will prevent start up. The battery drains in very short time and would not start. After 3 – 5 minutes waiting and shutting down all electric components. The car starts again.
I am unaware how the battery drains in short time when the battery is in good condition.
It is again able to recover in about 5 – 6 minutes.
Please advise what causes this problem. It is extremely difficult situation when stuck in road traffic.
    Regards
    Agha Akhlas

Sir check all diodes in your Alternator, diode trio (3 positive paired with 3 negatives).

Secondly check the tension in Alternator belt.

Also check if there is an open circuit between alternator and battery.

If there is any excessive resistance in between and any voltage drop in circuit, you can check with a Voltmeter.

    Consult a good electrician.

any electric repair person who can use a continuity tester and a multimeter can sort it out for you, Suzuki are notorious for not taking responsibility for anything - even for cars on the showroom floor.
