Default My Mehran is making me mad.

Recently I had the issue with it of decreasing water level and in the end the issue was of gasket(water oil mixing). When I showed it to mechanic he said yeah the gasket is farigh it needs to be changed.I gave him the keys and came back to home.. early morning he called phai jee the car's head needs be polished as its in bad condition...when I went there and checked it was in a bad shape..anyhow to cut the long story short I gave him the bucks and asked him to get it fixed... he changed the gasket plus polished the HEAD...asked me to get the second hand oil so that the kachra gets mixed with the old oil and after an hour we will change it to the new oil...he did the same changed filter oil and the car was completely danda now.
When I bought the car, drove it all over for 2- weeks and suddenly I noticed a change in it.. the change was the blue smoke coming out for 2 minutes and then the steam with water from the silencer.. I asked the mechanic he said its normal..the car isn't decreasing oil.
Whats the reason?? I was using Havoline but after this head work I bought shell oil.. perhaps shell oil is the culprit? Tell me experts..
BTW am living in Abbottabad and you guys know how cold it gets in the winter's

Dude i am having the SAME Story with my ALTO. After replacing gasket the car gave blue smoke for 30 seconds and after than steam along with water came out of exhaust. Please let me know if you get this problem solved anyhow !

I went to 2-3 different mechanics and SUZUKI authorized dealers. They said everything is fine, No need to worry about until and unless the oil level decreases

I will be following your thread... Please let me know how your problem get solved?

no way. the gas we pump as cng is almost pure methane the water is water vapour from the air. go to a desert and your car wont drop water.

My mechanic is also saying its normal no need to worry... perhaps changing the oil will do any good.If it doesn't then its sure shat the value seal issue its not placed/seated correctly.. when the car is parked for long the oil drop slowly to the chamber and then when you start the oil burns and gives out that smoke..

i am going to make my point clear.
sir g you studied chemistry methane chemical formula ch4 it cant be burned without oxygen o2 when cumbustion starts oxygen burns methane so
Ch4+o2 then product co2+h2o so thats how water vapour or droplets are drop you can test by putting a cloth on a scilencer it becomes moist
you can serch on web or read chemistry book 9th 10th 1st year 2nd year.
    Thanks.

Brother....MAHARAANS are made to drive us all crazy.....just kidding

now this is what i think happened with ur car...

engine got overheated.....or it had been running on a bit higher temp...gasket worn iut with time...and eventualy blown...u replaced it...and got good compression...but remeber the actual cause of this problem...over heating which makes the metal part made of different composition expand n contract differently...which makes valve seals loose their grip and oil start seeping in the cylinder....

smoke ( not steam )is blown in the morning and its visible cause oil keeps seeping in cylinder the whole nite and accumulates in cylinder which once burnt and smoke disappears...

if u change the valve seals this problem may get cured...but i guess u can keep driving ur car like that with out problems except a slight decrease in oil level which u can easily top up....

Very true but the thing is the head was polished and serviced and the valve seals were changed..why haven't they fitted properly?I got no problem with the smoke. The oil level isn't decreasing.

hehe - its a tricky thing installing valve seals, they can tear from the valve stems sharp edges if your mechanic is not careful enough - btw - are you running your engine on normal temperature or direct fan and no thermostat filled with tap water?

It is normal but Blue smoke in morning for an minute is an indication that you vaulve seals need to be checked.
