it wont do you engine any harm, but it wont do any major performance improvement as well, cars with a certain compression ratio can benefit from hi octane

    my friend,

yes it is better to start on petrol and not neccessory to use hi octane thus use noral petrol.

Brother use regular petrol. Its enough for Mehran. And if you still want to use Hi-Octane, then add 20-25% hi octane and 75-80% regular petrol.
Almost everyone in Pakistan is doing corruption to the extent they can. Our leaders are doing at the level they can do. So why should we complain?

Think little technical b4 using Hi-octane , If you are not getting the specified RON level which is recommended for Mehran than you can try hi-octane , to achieve required RON.

Remember any car perform best on its perfect RON # fuel level , up 'n' down & you loose the max power.

In pakistan unfortunately we have fuel with impurities in it , so I mix hi-octane to achieve 87 to 89 RON for my steermatic.

Once my chemistry teacher told me not to use such fancy fuels like hi-octane for vehicles and once you have used hi-octane than better not to switch back to the normal oil it will destroy your engine , as hi-octane has more number of oxygen than the normal one , i will not go deep into this chemistry stuff but better not to fancy your chances with such fancy oils

its mehran don't deal it like BMW , your mechanic is nuts , he has no idea about what he is saying because he don't know the ABC of chemistry , they will ask you to do all the fancy things you can possibly without having a slightest of ideas what its all about . Your mechanic suck big time

Bro mehran ko zarurat nahi Hi octane ki... Hi-Octane se gari urna shuru nahi karegi... woh utna hi perform karegi jitna us engine ki capacity hogi. Whereas, yes u can use Hi-octane if u want, at 80:20 ratio.

I personally use Alto, and use super with hi-octane with 85:15 ratio respectively, to achive optimum performance. Its bcoz we have impure fuel in pakistan here, and i stand second to comment by accord7362
