The OEM A/C in the Mehran is a Denso. However, i have heard that a Sanden compressor is cheaper and in case of any fault it can be opened up and overhauled. The Denso A/C compressor I have heard cannot be opened up easily and is more expensive. These are only things which I have heard but cannot confirm. My Mehran has a factory fitted Denso A/C and so far I have used it extensively for 3 yrs without any problem.

Sanden's are known as khota AC,
never give a problem and they are lighter(lesser load) on the engine.

Denso has way better cooling then Saden but expensive

Thanks a lot guyz for your advices but please recommend which one should i go for Sanden or Denso? I want good cooling and the A/C should not give me troubles like leaking of gases etc.

I know denso is a lot expensive than sanden but is it worthwhile to spend extra for denso or not? and what would be the estimated price for each if you ppl know and from where could i get the A/C installed i want to know some good A/C walas in Karachi.

    agree with hash4u

    go for sanden

and who says it isnt cooler than a denso

if the gas is proper with proper lubricant added then sanden is same as a denso

and also lesser load on engine
that is a fact...i have tried that

i have sanden in my charade....less load good cooling. i installed a larger evaporator upfront. that improved the cooling. the guy also said if i changed the inside condenser to a larger unit my A/c would cool even more.

toyota i belive uses denso. denso in my opinion has better cooling than sanden.
