Default Advice Needed - Mehran VX Petrol or VX CNG

I am planning to buy mehran 2011. Some are advising me the go for Mehran VX petrol and get CNG installed after 5000Km. as the price for VX CNG is Rs.61000/- more than the VX petrol and CNG from the market is being installed at Rs 30,000/- so it would be saving about Rs. 30000/- straight away.

I need advice keeping following points in view:

    1-Mileage
    2-Performance
    3-Maintainance
    4-Car Resale

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

yar, don't think of price difference as factory fitted is definitely better. But do think of availability of CNG in the future and decide whether it is justified to spend more than 60k on a fuel system which would most probably not be available. decision is yours. if i ware in your place i would go for Mehran petrol and then would install after market CNG telling the installer "don't make any damages to body during installation as i may have to remove the CNG system soon."

If you are planning to book the car than the price difference is what you mentioned, but if you are planning to buy from showroom than petrol version have more "on". I would advice in case of booking go for petrol version and get CNG installed from a good reputed place.

Go for petrol version and install 50l Cylinder as FF has Cylinder of 40L which is not suitable because of 3 days load shedding

@All: Thankyou for your valuable suggestion.

@adeelhanif: very rightly said.. currently its 3 day loadshedding..more is expected in this winter..... 50L cylinder would be the right option if i plan to invest in CNG...

@mzahid: Yup bro your right. "Own" is more on VX Petrol. I am getting mehran VX petrol metallic for 530,000/-(ex Fact price: 500000/-, Own + Frieght: 30000/-) and Mehran VX CNG metallic for 585000/- (ex Fact price: 561000/-, Own + Frieght: 24000/-). The difference still stands at 55000/-. I still think saving 25 thousand after installation would get good alloys and tyres . By the way do u have any idea what is expected booking time... Suzuki ppl say it would take 12weeks even more

Inshallah i would go for the Mehran VX Petrol in this week.

3 months is minimum time they will take.

I remember is August Own + Frieght was 15000/- for VX CNG met on showrooms, so its increased ....

Another option you will have for booking is colour of your choice as silver and blue no longer there on showrooms. Best of luck with your purchase.
