    Default Mehran cng or without cng ?

    dear pw members
    i am wishing to have one new mehran for my home use, i check the prices of new mehran i.e vx petrol rs495,000 and vx cng rs556,000 a differnce of rs61,000/-

    In my view its a big differnce as after market new cng kit is roughly about rs30,000/-

    pls give me your suggestions which option i should opt i.e vx cng or vx with after sale cng kit with valid reasons ?
    thanks

    why dont you wait for a year then you can easily get cultus.. you will not have loss on mehran then..

    and the average of mehran is very good.. i think you can also drive it on petrol without any problems.. try it on petrol for a year and sell it to get a cultus..

    or try getting a loan from a bank to add to your current money and get cultus and pay off the loan slowly...

    I will recommend the facotry fitted CNG. I have used 4 FF Suzuki vehicels which remain perfect all the time, on the other hand open maket choice is risky some time. So if you want to retain you car for new few years then go for builin option.

    then go for after market ones in which you will save a lot of money as compared to buying the factory fitted one... because anyway you will sell your car after 1 year so why do you have to pay more and get a factory fitted cng...

    everyone knows the price of a FF CNG n that of the 1 u install afterwards.if u have the money go for FF if not then go for aftermarket.as when selling both will sell at their respective prices. majority of the people will pay u less the diff on both prices. Furthermore ask yourself.if u were offered two identical mehrans 1 with FF CNG n the other aftermarket.would u pay the same price for both?? Certainly not. So it all comes to the cash u have.if u have it go for the FF mehran.if u cant then the aftermarket works just as good.FF will sell quicker as its more in demand when u plan selling it. It has a neater fitting aswell. Now the decision is urs my friend

    @haa0518 @azharpaki
    many tks brothers for your suggestion.

    @zunny
    appreciate your feedback. last evening i checked the after market kit prices and i was quoted rs28000 for landirenzo with 40kg cylender, means a differnce of rs33,000.

    frankly speaking my mind going for aftermarket kit, though i have funds but in my view its waste of money to pay extra rs33,000 to pak suzuki.

    sure i agree fitting quality of ff better than after market.

    further i have experince in used cars differnce of amount varies by overall condition of car, for example a) 01 year old ff cng mehran driven little rough, more millage
    b) 01 year old mehran wtih after market cng kit, scratchless condition, less millage than everyone including myself will be inclined to 2nd option.

    being salried person its my hard earning money and sure by the differnce of rs33,000 i can do other pendding things, let say 32" samsung lcd for my bedroom

    FF AC and FF CNG in a Car is the best option, although they are little expensive.

    If u r not short of cash, go for factory fitted CNG.
    If cash is a prob then, install CNG from local market

    in 2001 i got mehran from my company and that time ff option was not there so i installed aftermarket kit, its worked 5 years perfectly without any problem to me and i was satisfied with car pick as i maintained car properly, so frankly speaking i am incline for aftermarket option this time as well.
    just want to clarify differnce between small and big regulator? whats differnce in performance in these 2 ? if u or ur any friend have know how pls check for me.
    tks

    dear bro
    appreciate your input sure its valued for me tks.

    just to share my experince with u, in 2001 i got mehran with ff ac and in 2003 one of my cousin bought vx mehran and installed aftermarket ac, trust me big differnce of cooling also his car not as much overheated in city compare to mine.

    later one of old friend in 3s suzuki workshop told me suzuki cars come with chinese ac gas so to have better cooling should change with japniese ac gas, this i done in my alto ff ac and results much better

    dear bro ...i had the same query 30 days back..... i got Mehran VX petrol...... have done about 1000km ... and have calculated the average and planning to keep it on petrol.... Petrol Filling Details:
    RS 1500 @ 89.7 = 16.722 liters
    RS 1500 @ 87.9 = 17.06 liters
    RS 2000 @ 87.9 = 22.75 liters

    Total:1000kms in 56.532 = 17.68km/liter = Rs 5 per kilometer.

    The traveling is total local... live in rawalpindi....so drive there... Got its first tunning 2 days back.. and the mechanic said that it would do more now... as we have adjusted the petrol.... approx it would now give me 19 km/liter inshallah.. got the tank refueled. would let u guys know the updates....

    I would go for the CNG but not sooner... as in winters there is a big problem of CNG in islamabad/rawalpindi.... By the way got it registered as well .... do let me know if anyone of u require any information... would love to help.
