Hello friends,
Its a 2005 Mehran, a beauty, perfect car. I ruined it.
Replaced all four shock absorbers, rears with the genuine ones and front with the chines one. Went good for eight months until I went to a mechanic in G-8 for the CV joint noise and replaced the whole axle with the kabli one which i believe is not of Mehran. I asked him to check the front suspension, he pointed out the shoks are now hard and needs to be replaced. Ok replaced them with kabli ones. 15 days latter, the right shock goes hard and I just replaced the both with the new ones.
Few days after that my cars steering became very hard and stiff and it used to got stuck on left side on sharp curves. Went to Saeed Engineering the they repaired the steering and ball joints. 3 weeks passed away, steering is still stiff and hard and take a lot of energy plus it gets stuck on very minute right left turing like driving at Murree road. I am really disappointed and don't want to go to these bloody mechanics.
I want to know if the kabli axle has any involvement in the steering becoming hard or there can be any other reason other than the steering box itself which looks to me fine. The suspension is fine, nothing wrong with the wheels.
Another issue from a long is is then when giving the car a jerk, or lifting from first gear there is a crich from underneath the body. What can be that, its from almost 3 months I have not consulted any mechanic and apparently there is nothing wrong in the drive because of that crick.
Hope to see some good suggestions.:*
