Default Alloys to Stock rims for Mehran

    Hello friends,

I installed alloy wheels in Mehran five months back with the existing 155/70/R12 Dunlop eco tires. Since then I have felt the car heavy, stiff steering and heavy wheels. Should I go back to the stock rims? will it improve drive and suspension and handling? However, road grip has considerably increased after alloys but I suspect suspension is not behaving good. Please suggest. Cost 14,000. I have the option to exchange with a friends just arrived Mehran's stock wheels.

Hi; I had similar spec General tyres 155/70/12 on my Mehran with stock rims and found amazingly improved performance with road grip and handling. Found absolutely no issues with suspension nor stiff steering. Steering actually was pretty smooth and light (almost like power steering).

Does your rims weigh much more than stock rims? Else, tyres are pretty okay and suggest to have these to improve handling of Mehran and have a safer drive.
