Default New Shocks for Mehran

Mehran's left shock is becoming hard over and over again, replaced four sets of kablis in four months (only shocks) and after few days left shock hardens. Any idea?

I am looking for some genuine new front shocks along with Strut Mounts. Can I get them? From where? What brand and part number is it? KYB or Gabriel? Appreciate your help. Waseem/Kiani have KYB as originals for some 5,000

So what to buy? Has any one experienced? The original Gabriel (stock) came out of this car after six years.

Whenever replacing shock absorbers of your cars always prefer new units.
IMHO used and repaired units are no good.
They are unreliable and dont last that long.
KYB, Garbiel and Tokico units are good.

Yes I also heard the same, not sure though.

Yes Gabriel is the original one which comes as stock. I removed them last year after 6 years and some 72000km, installed KYB at the rear working good, opted for Chinese one for the front and they lasted four months.

search for tokico. if you dont find them go for KYBs. for shock problem, get your suspension throughly checked. changing shocks wont do any good if you have bad strut coil (spring) or bad wishbone (chimta). so get it checked from some suzuki 3s dealership. and always go for new shocks.

Well I want to replace whole of the strut. Don't know if I can get genuine mount and coil? The left side hardens after some days, four months, four pairs of kabuli replaced, same result. Yesterday exchanged the position of both struts, left to right and right to left to see if there is any thing else causing the hardness.

Car bounces a lot on even small bumps (more than usual) PLUS bends towards the softer shock side (right) PLUS moves towards the harder shock side (LEFT) when hit small bumps at high speed PLUS tires feel like in the air with less grip and softer steering feel on rough road like gravel roads with small tiny bumps PLUS the body cracked about an inch four time on the left side behind the camber bolts. Wishbone perfect, bushes perfect. 155/70R12 Dunlop Gigi Eco 20k km, 29psi, Alloys. No accident no other thing.

if your suspension is misaligned you will ruin your shocks in no time. body torn points out excevie jerks to the body due to bad shock. from what you are teling i can only guess that you should propably change the shock+coil.
does your car moves sideways a little bit when you hit some khadda? the less grip problem you are telling is due to bad wishbones.

to check wishbones: park the car with wheels straight and hand brake on then see if you can push the front wheels one at a time in and out if tires move then wishbone needs replacing
