    Angry Mehran for Rs. 779,000/-

    Hello,

From last couple of days I have been searching for a sedan car and replace my current Mehran. So to get price idea I thought better to check the new Mehran's current cost with all my car's accessories. And believe me when I calculated all then I was like . Check yourself:-

    Mehran for Rs 779000 -1173248
    Details:-
    Mehran for Rs 779000 -1173137

If prices keep increasing like this, then be ready for Mehran for 8 lacs very soon

Humble Request: PLEASE stay on topic & don't bring JDM vs Local or anything like that, for this purpose there are many threads on Pakwheels already. This thread is created to aware "HIDDEN" costs of car which a customer needs to pay. And PakSuzuki (and dealers/investors) still claims that "Oh jee bas 650,000 ki New Mehran hai". They simply ignore/hide the huge amount of additional Rs. 127,000/- which a poor customer need to spend later.

The dealers thingy: I would love to see any dealers or investor's comment on this thread. Many dealers post Ads in "User Cars" section claiming "Home used car" or "Personal Used Car". I just found an interesting blog article on PakWheels
exposing dealers, following are few lines taken from that:-

    "
If you’re looking for a Mitsubishi Lancer 2005 and find it parked in a showroom, it will be classified as the ”most reliable car” and “drive pleasure is unmatchable” and since it is ”total genuine”, hence priced at 1 Million. However if God forbid, you visit the same showroom to sell your Lancer 2005, you will be greeted with remarks such as ”Out of market” “Maintenance too expensive” “re-painted hood”, and since it is such a pain, the dealer will offer to ”do you a favor” and buy it off at 0.7 Million, which is unreasonable, and so is the 1 Million tag"

I love my Pakistan more than anyone else but I m not satisfied where it stands today You may be happy with the only fact that Pak Suzuki is manufacturing everything locally but brother that is not benchmark of Progress, at least not for me I want to see Pakistan touch heights of Glory....and no doubt it is Land of Gems and the day we find a visionary leadership THERE WILL BE NO LOOKING BACK....

    Good for you.
Almost everyone in Pakistan is doing corruption to the extent they can. Our leaders are doing at the level they can do. So why should we complain?

If you couldn't maintain a car, doesn't mean the car is that bad. We've kept two one from 1989 to 2002 and one from 2006-2013. I was content with it never gave me such problems.

    Which car is not costly?

JDMs engines are 100 RON tuned, from where you will bring fuel? On Pakistani fuels most of JDMs engines would not last long

Body parts, bumpers, fenders, grills, lights, etc would be problem to source if need replacement in case of an accident

The JDM's in Mehran's price range are mostly 660c which are mostly street patrol, delivery cars in Japan not meant for highway driving

In 1000cc segments JDMs are above one million rs mark

    That's why people chose Mehran

Your earlier post didn't reflect so.
