    Default Mehran euro2 Ac performance

    Hi all,
can any mehran euro2 owner guide me regarding performance of AC.
I have been told by suzuki dealership that in euro2 mehran Ac works better than before , it actually cools down the cabin even in direct sun light . I thought before i buy i should ask the owners of mehran euro 2 about Ac and fuel consumption.

If Ac works how good is that i mean does it really cools for back passengers ?

    your kind/helpful comments please.
    Thanks in advance

Euro II has amazingly nice AC, loving it. This is coming from a Corolla 2005 owner whose AC is chilling even during the peak summer heatwave at noon.

All car ac's struggle with direct sunlight.
Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.

Paksuzuki has removed the side vents, then how we can expect gud from Paksuzuki?? Euro II Compressor is same no difference, so dont expect much from Paksuzuki. Euro II just name ka EFI hai, it has Distributor with Mechanical vacuum Advancer, if the car is running on CNG u can remove the Dummy so called ECU.

Fill from different pumps and see. I have not yet been able to check it properly despite 1350 kms since March 13 as I only take it out on weekends (being a second car in home). When I bought it new I filled up full tank, then send the car at workshop for routine checkup and could not collect it for few days, the mechanics stole the petrol. Since I never let it touch E and fill again I am not getting any idea about the milage. I have also lost track of how many times I have filled. Next time I am going to keep a spare can and end the petrol in tank and then check its milage.

I haven't measured the mileage of my Mehran but it's AC performance is highly under rated. Given that your car is kept in good condition and regularly maintained, the only challenge for Mehran AC is being stuck in traffic with no movement in a hot summer afternoon. If your car is going at at least 30km/hr, even then it would produce adequate cooling with around 55% -60% engine heat.

In fact i just came from Airport, 50 kilo meters distance both ways. Drove entire distance with A.C with 4 passengers and the temperature needle didn't go more than 30% ( My car has fan direct )

Karachi Suzuki 3S asking for Euro 2 VX AC installation 40,000 plus 2 days time.
when i was asked for compressor using in VXR, (to some mechanic in side workshop) he told that VXR original sedan compressor(he say it is rotary not piston (i am confuse after that)) is very good, installed only that with original fittings. he also informed that you get these from market in 25000 complete AC but not original fitting, we send your car to man Suzuki workshop (or what ever place ) for installation.

    How to improve mehran A/C.
    1) Close fresh air lid. Usually mehran fresh air button/liver donot work properly and fresh air lid remains open partially thus decreasing A/C performance. Close it from the liver that is located under the Dash in front of passenger seat. move it to left and tie it with wire. It should stay there. Sown in picture 1.
    2) Cover the Dash with white cloth or atleast place tissue box over air vents. The Mehran's Dash material absorbs lot of heat.
    3) Set air throw settings as shown in picture 2. It will help to circulate cool air through out the car + it will open the side vents. Means u'll have two air vents on the sides also. You can close Wind screen vents with Duct Tape and can open it when required. Closing the wind screen vents will allow u to have more air from the side vents.

These are the simple techniques to improve your Mehran's car A/C. A/C performance on Euro 2 is good because it runs on petrol + it has improved suzuki radiator.
