    Default petrol smell in mehran 2006

    i need urgent advice from the experts that iam realy fed up with the petrol smell .I have changed and checked every thing but not solved .
    can u plz tel me .petrol smell only cme after filling petrol and when i change to petrol

    it sometimes happen.. i guess it is for a minute or so which is totally normal. but if it stays there then you should check for any kind of leak.. also make sure the seals are tight under the rear seat!

    My swift has this smell since day one.

    Whenever I get tank filled smell comes inside car even Windows closed

    dont get petrol ya'all :p problem solved
    on serious note,there are clips that,over time,get free so check them and replace them if necessary. and if your car is new and still has it,take it to the company.that should be taken care off in warranty..

    Bro once i was also facing the same problem , after lot of checkup i found a mechanic who told me that this is not a problem, he opened a back left back light which is on the side from where the petrol door is, there is small pipe in there is chocked or block, kindly check that small exhaust pipe, i am sure u will find your problem solved.

    sometimes smell comes but be sure it is not a leak either it could end up burning

    Thumbs down Same problem..

    I had the same issue with my 2003 Suzuki Mehran VXR CNG way back in 2003. Took it to Macca Motors in Karachi for checking under warranty but they could find nothing wrong or at least they said nothing was wrong. SO I got used to the smell whenever i filled it with petrol or drove it on petrol. Maybe KING5 has the solution.

    I had similar problem. My fuel filter was leaking. Changed that and problem solved.
