Default Mehran Shock behaviour too un-orthodox.

Hi all. first of all plz dont ignore it as a many-times-asked-before-question. And try to help me as i m in a fix. i got 2006 (2nd hand) mehran. Tyres are new yokohama. Initially vehicle was raised a bit from rear. i lowered it and thought it would fix the problem. but it didn't. the problem is...my drive is too bumpy. Even a 2 inch indulating road would throw me in air. i know people here spank mehran owners for not having the right to open our mouth for comfort BUT people...i get it checked by mehran owners too...its un-usually bumpy. Tell me what can i do to smoothen it a little bit (plz dont suggest me to buy honda civic prosmetic, mercedez c-180 etc etc, come up with a mature answer)

    Thanks.

    hahahah
normally mehran is bumpy because of rear KAMANI...
tell me the numbers of kamani installed.. beacause most of the people install 3 kamani instead of 2 kamani...

Hahaha at OP, bhai PW aesa nahi. It is good place. All car owners are treated equally.
BTW what I see is that
Previous owner had CNG, and now CNG is removed. "Kamani" was installed to raise car, now as CNG is removed car is light at back so you need to remove the extra Kamani installed. Other case can be that people of previous owner were heavy and used kamani to support their weight...

End result -- It is kamani problem. Remove extra kamani.

the number of kamanis could be safely jotted down as 2.5. 2 long kamanis and a short kamani underneath

Yes man, do not change tyres please. Remove 1 kamani.

And btw for tyres condition, tell us their mileage and post pictures of walls and tread. It is not possible from these pics to determine tyres conditions.

And the problem you are describing can be because of tyres if they are "Ganja" fully "Khatam" tyres. The tread in the pic above seems not worst. And problem is probably and most probably due to Kamani.

My Mehran also has 3 leafs
Mehran Shock behaviour too unorthodox -1303009
It is quite bumpy on rough roads, but on smooth roads it just gives minor Jumps.
There is a role of Tires, as you can easily observe that Mehrans with different Tires behave differently.
My tires are old General Radials ST of 145 some size, that is quite small to absorb bumps.

In your case, it seems that the Tires are meant for 'Snowy' areas as 'Ice guard' is written on it's Side wall.
Furthermore, as others mentioned, your Tires seem old and the Treas seems to be re-groven. You can easily compare it with new tires.

About Kamani, I also think that removing it will solve the Jump issue, but it is something your Mechanic might not do until you take the responsibility of facing the consequences.

Like Ekdrifter said, I also noticed that there is some problem if too much dirt accumulates on the Kamanies.

If you are changing tires, I found Hankooks Optimo ME 04 best in comfort.
