    Default Jerks while lifting/releasing accelerator

The car in question is mehran. the problem is that when i lift my foot off the accelerator it gives a strong jerk. even when i lift foot for braking the car jerks. its very annoying and people think i dont know how to drive.

I went to mechanic. he inspected and said that all three mounts including the mount of gear box need to be replaced. a thing on which engine is residing needs welding and both axles need to be changed as well. he says this will solve the problem

I get the first part that mounts including the gear mount can cause jerk but what axle has to do with it? he says axles has play in it so they jerk when you lift foot. I want to know what is causing this problem? is mechanic right?
