Default Engile Oil for newly overhauled Suzuki Mehran

I have recently got my car's engine overhauled completely and replaced most of the parts. Now the engine heats up to almost middle of the gauge even the fan is manual(on all the time). Please let me know that which is the best engine oil to use for newly overhauled engine. I will change the engine oil after 300 Km of Engine run. For the time being I have poured PSO engine oil (Drum Pack) just for flushing and break-in period.

1st- this drum pack was not a good idea.
2nd- better you buy sealed packs.
3rd- tempature guage in the middle does not mean your car engine is over heating.
4th- still if you want to be careful. Run your car on idle for few hours.
5th- when you change the oil go for good quality semi/fully synthetic and also change the oil filter.
