Cool Budget Tyres Suggestion for Mehran

In need to change the tyres on my mehran, the stock size I believe 145/70/R12 , so went to check rates in the market and found out this:

    General Tyres = 2900Rs each

    Yokohoma Tyres = 3600Rs each

Two slightly used stock rims = 1400Rs

And the guy said he would give me 600 for my old " Veer Rubber " tyres as they are worn out.

So all in all after negotiations he said he'll give me 4 General Tyres + 2 slightly used stock rims for = 12K after taking my old tyres and rims.

Q#1 Is this a good deal or can I get it cheaper elsewhere guys???
Q#2 Is this the best tyre option if I'm on a budget of 12K???

    Thanks in advance!

Humm. Why you are neglecting the fact that Tyre is the most important part of your car. Why you are compromising on saefty for few thousands. Also cheap tyres will not last long. Read https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/new...-5#post4630397

I will go for new tyres. Please avoid used tyres at all cost. Get new ones which comes in your budget . Again it's your budget and decision.

Thanks for your input, which ones did you end up buying???
I was thinking about Dunlop but they are around 16K so out of my budget.
Furthermore, the General tyres are thicker/harder than Yoko or Dunlop so I've been told they will last longer and work better on khaddai and bumpy roads, any input on this?

in 12k budget you can get Rotalla tyres which are good. I used them 30k km and tread was still pretty much left and they were sold for 4k so it was a nice option.

the general tyres in my mehran lasts for 50 k .... they are punctured for like 4 or 5 times in their lifetime and mostly used on bad roads (ijp road more precisely)...... they are really reliable congrats on your purchase ......
