Post Suzuki - Mehran Brake Issue

I just borrowed Suzuki Mehran euro 4 (purchased in Nov 2014) from my brother for some months. its brakes isn't functioning properly. I have no idea about Mehran actual brakes performance as I drove club and vitz since last 14 years. What could be the reason. Please help.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Muhammad Jamshaid

Actually you are experiencing the brake without a servo booster. It can be swapped with a servo booster type.

    Here are your two options:-

    1. Install Brake Booster of some used kabuli car. (costly method)
    2. Change brake pads to softer ones. Try MK Brand brake pads. (low cost method)

I have used MK brake pads in my ex-mehran and believe me braking experience improved hell alot.

These are not expensive. You can buy them from Montgomery road. May cost up to 400 -500 rupees for a pair. These are reliable.

Before buying the new brake pads, first you have to make sure that its existing brake are really done or bad.

as you said you drove Santro and Vitz before...., then driving mehran would not be so easy for the first few days specially.

once i came home on my crown and a mehran was wrongly parked outside by some of our guest and he requested me to park it aside by myself. He gave me key and i start the mehran. I was pushing/pressing its brake padel like hell but it was not working good. i told that guy that you should check its brakes because these are not working well, but he said these are perfect. After some time we went in his mehran in the market and he said the brakes are working perfect.

(hope you can extract the message from this short story)
