    Exclamation Suzuki Mehran Ac Issue

    Salam to all pakwheelers!

I have a Suzuki mehran 1990 model in perfect condition body & engine wise. This summer i planned to install ac in my car.I have purchased and installed denso kabuli compressor and all the other stuff. Now i am facing overheating issue when air con is turned on.Without ac temperature gauge remains on C,But as soon as i turned on the ac temperature gradually increase to full.
Now i think i've spoiled my hard earned money.Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

    Checklist:-

Just installed new radiator for 4000/- but no luck.
There is no leak in cooling system.
Radiator fan is direct and working in perfect condition according to electrician.
Added green colored coolant with 50:50 ratio with water.
Also driven without front grill(jali) but no results.

Bro also check and share the pics of the condensor you are using.

also if you are using scroll type compressor than it should not cause the issue since i installed similar in my car works very well with no heat up issues ALHAMD U LILLAH.

Try coure kabuli radiator with its fan assembly, I did this to my charade and have noticed good result.

Mistake that I previously made were Local Copper radiator followed by Malaysian aluminium radiator with 5 fin kabuli fan. Formula was good but there were spaces between radiator n fan affecting the air flow.

Now the new coure assembly (fan n radiator all together) @ rs 4500 has made a lot of difference, no more heating issue during day time.

    P.S. From Karachi

The original radiator was in a very bad condition. All the fins were screwed up.That's why my mechanic suggested the radiator change.Heat level without ac remains at starting point. And the compressor installed is scroll type Denso SC06e model I guess.
    Sorry for poor image quality!

How to check if the thermostat valve is installed in a mehran or not???? Btw my mehran has an auto radiator fan which is functioning properly. Would it mean that the thermostat valve is installed????

the radiator ur using is not copper ... buy lords or loads( dont know exact name) radiator they r usually copper one n direct ur radiator fan n remove thermostat valve in summer only if ur using ac n then place it when winter arrives..also check ur condenser the main problem for ur car to have high temperature is because of a faulty condensor get it fixed or replaced..also check gaskit...make sure to clean ur condensor with spray fresh water almost everyday to give max performance in ac n for heavensake never use a coolant in mehran its going to destroy ur car quickly n completely just use water

in the morning when car is cold, remove the radiator cap, start the engine. now keep looking inside. first you should see almost no flow of water, and then after a bit, it will be a fast flow. keep one hand on the pipe attached to the top of radiator. it will also be cold but get hot suddenly

You can tell if a thermo is in a car in a jiffy, on a cold start in the morning, just put your finger in the radiator with car started, if you feel water temperature chaning (heating up) within 30 seconds there is no thermo present. Also if there is no thermo present on a cold start your car will take 10 to 15 minutes to reach half mark (considering fan is auto). If fan is direct it might never reach half mark and stay near C or at 25%
