No doubt. Its all about how you drive ,care , engine oil. Un maintained &abused mehran can give u 10km/litre or even low. I don't know what you kept & how. Check your pm for required engine&chassis no . feel free to give to pak suzuki

How can you doubt 18 km/l from a Mehran, when I have already posted that 18 km/l is possible from a VTi? In fact, I have taken it to 22 km/l recently. Two same cars, in the exact same condition, can give very different mileages with two different drivers.

You are somewhat correct though; a used carby Mehran, blessed with Ustaad's direct fan/thermostat delete treatment, which has never seen an ignition system service or proper carb adjustment, will generally give a low mileage.
_ 22 km/l from '03 VTi automatic, with plenty of room for improvement

18KMPL in city is bit too over exaggerated. Mehran efi gives 17 in city and 21-22 long and carb ones give 19-20 long and 10-13 city

Depends on the length of the trip in the city. If its a regular 3 km journey to a school and back, then 10 is very generous; the car will spend most of its time with the choke applied.

On the other hand, if its a 20+ km journey on mostly on two lane boulevards, then 15+ km/l is not entirely impossible.

These figures are real life examples from my own driving experience; I used to get 8 km/l from my Cultus in my pre hypermiling days, going to school and back.

Nowadays, I have tested my with hypermiling and longer distances within city, I easily get 15 km/l from the same car; its my minimum in fact.
