dont start the engine for short periods of time, its actually worse than not starting at all.
jack the car up and park it on jackstands under the suspension components to keep the suspension loaded and compresed.
keep it under shade and protected by other debris like mud, rain etc.
remove battery and keep on charging tender
remove fuel from tank as it will gel up over time.
when you come back and want to start the car, fill with fresh fuel in the tank and remove the spark plugs and squirt some oil in the holes, disable the ignition coil and crank the engine till it the oil light goes out, now install the plugs, apply choke, prime the engine with some fuel and start it.
