I also have a problem to discuss here. my auto fan works perfectly fine during daytime along with ac too. but at night I have noticed that the auto fan loses speed on both normal and ac mode. this is because of the headlights turned on at night. due to this, my temperature gauge sometimes crosses the half mark. Please provide me the solution to this. all the technicians come up with silly solutions "sir fan ko direct kar k relay laga dein"

I am 100% agreed with Hassan Iqbal. He diagnosis the right reasons. Do not go for direct fan option. The Engine oil and engine itself needs a particular temperature to work efficiently. Removing Auto function will keep the engine in low temperature mode which causes High fuel consumption, Burning of engine oil, Engine wear n tear and other small problems which decreases the overall life.

Dear brothers.... i want to ask a question... rear wheel leaf springs of my car have been straighten due to long life usage... for the last two years my mechanic has been telling me to get these leaf springs curved.. but as per my perception this straight leaf springs have increased stability and comfort of the cabin... i travel at 90 plus kmph.. it gives me feel of cultus... i use tyres of 145/65 r12 yokohama tubeless.. front shock is also a bit old... so my car gets more stable as it goes at high stable..

Leave the Kamaani alone if it's not giving you trouble. As for thermo, here is the pin I was talking about:

Install a relay with a diode to the fan using the signal from the thermostat switch, the original wiring in this car is not upto the mark and the fan draws quite a lot of current so use good quality wiring to power the fan. Using the signal from the thermostat switch would make your fan work as it was intended to.

If the fan doesn't turn on at a certain temperature then the thermostat switch is bad.
for example, the fan should turn on when the gauge is about half point, if it does this sometimes and not the other then the switch is the problem and should be replaced asap.

other things to consider: there should be no air in the cooling system, it can put off the gauge as well as the thermostat switch.

a choked water pump intake pipe can do this, a corroded out water pump impeller blade can do this too. The mehran thermoswitch is in the radiator - the fan will not kick on if the radiator is not exchanging coolant with the engine correctly. As @syncview mentioned - a bad air cushion inside the system can cause severe grief too.

When the system gets hot - does the level in the "overflow bottle" rise? and does it fall when cooling off?
