Thread: New EFI Mehran Missing Problem

    Default New EFI Mehran Missing Problem

    I bought a new mehran 2 months back and now its Odo shows 7550 Km. Tuned twice from Suzuki Texila motors. Every thing is fine and smooth ride till now. only problem is that when i drove car with ac on all time for 2 3 hours it start giving jerks... jhatky start. some kind of missing .. this only happen when i accelerate car from 1st and 2nd gear... people in suzuki checked thoroughly and said no problem observed.. Help please.. i never faced any issue like this before..
    Ac on/off dono time same problem hy.. as soon as I put in 3rd gear jerks gone and ride smooth again....

    Also put that grip back on to the purge valve. Don't leave that hanging or its points will rust and become useless. Also cover the open hose with tape or something so that mud does not settle inside it.

    I was using platinum plugs and silicon wires 8mm in my 2012 model carby mehran.. that was good and giving me good real once and fuel avg too.. planing to put ngk irridium in this new model

    It goes from tank to the top of fuel filler hose. The purpose of this breather is to protect tank from getting air locked when you are refueling your car.

    Today I went to pindi Saddar for scanner check my car.. main purpose was to check if purge valve is faulty or not... purge valve is absolutely fine and opening closing with throttle... I personally saw on scanner for purge valve induction.. when open charcoal canister it was completely chocked and fumes did not passing from it.. I changed this box... after that drive in hot day with a.c. on no issue till now... every thing is fine

    Did you buy it from 3s or from market? How much did it cost? May be Suzuki should read this thread to fix this problem before selling its car.

    Well you can also check charcoal canister by yourself and without opening it. Blow air from one pipe and see if it is coming out from other.

    Bought it from market... very hard to find.. after 2 hour's of market chakar and searching from different shops at different areas finally one shop has this air bottle of euro 2 (as said by shopkeeper).. for 2000 rs..

    I checked... old was badly chocked... I bought this and compare.. this one is blowing air easily.
    Old one get chocked due to air entering from bottom line... and in dirty environment it chocked..

    hmmm....what about adding a small filter in the lower end open hose of that EVAP canister........bdw there should be some fault in these canisters otherwise they dont fail so early......cultus baleno have the same shape size company EVAP canisters and they dont fail so early.......sometimes they just restrict and then air is blown and they start working again.
