    Default Suggest tyres 4 Mehran & place to buy in lahore

    Currently i have Good year in my mehran, although the tyres are ok (look wise) but today i went for wheel balacing and the guy suggest me to change the tyres as there are bumps in the tyres which one can feel with his hand (that is the reason why i don't have smooth ride), he suggest me Yokohama 155/70R/12.
    Please suggest me tyres for stock rims with smooth, stable, reliable and noiseless drive with reliable place to buy in lahore.

    I have searched in forums and some gave good comments for yokohama but i could not find suggested place to buy more the replies restricst to 1 or 2 replies.

    Please share your experience and suggestions.

    Thanks

    @ OMER4494

    hey...salamz...yaaar bro Yokohama 155/70R/12 is fine...i just got all my tyres replaced on eid...GOODYEAR for mehran is not recommended now bcoz GOODYEAR for mehran is coming frm india...though it wud nt make any differnce but still it will (GOOD YEAR STANDARDS ARE SAME WORLDWIDE ) i think u got the point....

    wen i searched the market i had 3 options.

    1.Nankang
    2.Yokohama
    3.Dunlop

    I was using yokohama before...the tyres worked for 50k km yokohama is bit hard...so this time i opted for NANKANG...it was looking great in finishing...lol...plus many ppls suggested me NANKANG instead of DUNLOP...

    The ride is smooth...no bumps...road grip is excellent till now...in short till now m satisfied with NANKANG...drove the car almost for 950km after the tyres got changed...

    ABOUT THE PLACE:

    neela gumbad or wahdat road is the best place for tyre hunting

    BUT m pakka gahak of MALIK TYRES (WAHDAT ROAD) so got all the tyres changed frm them...not for mehran but for corolla also...THE guy is really nice and all the tyres are original...its guaranteed....

    IF u are interested in buying GOOD YEAR then i would recommend u to go to MM ALAM ROAD thats my uncle showroom Got my nissan tyres changed frm them...its the best place for GOOD YEAR tyres...BUT again i would not recommend GOOD YEAR FOR MEHRAN

    best of luck...

    Regards

    @khizarsiddiqui

    Walikum asalm.

    Mate i really appriciate for a detailed reply. Many thanks for that. yaar this time i am not intrested in good year, although the experience is not that bad (not even a sigle puncture yet after 45000 kms) but ride is bit bumpy and not smooth.

    i got my Good year from your uncle's showroom, at that time it was only a display for good year now it is full of imported cars also. if my memory is supporting me correctly.

    Which one you put at the top , yokohama or Nankang?
    and what is the price of both?

    no problem mate...yeah at that time it was just a good year dealership i will prefer DUNLOP or NANKANG...they both are soft tyres and have excellent road grip...
    AS I HAVE ALREADY SAID THAT YOKAHAMA IS HARD AND RIDE FEELS SO STIFF N BUMPY :s so u can choose between any of two

    DUNLOP or NANKANG...both are GOOD and almost same (Y)

    I got my tyres (4 pieces) for Rs 6600 (Rs1650/Tyre)

    @OMAR

    I have been using Hankok h-706 for the last one year.the tyre is doing fine with gud grip and smooth ride.got them exchanged with General which orginally comes with the car.suspected to give me 60k road-miles.i have driven them for 40k no probs uptil now.and not a single puncture soo far.
    Qaiser Pal,I have not failed.But found 1 of 10,000 ways which doesn't work.....Toyota driver "I couldn't repair my brakes,so i made my horn louder"..When i was born i was so surprised that i didn't talked to one and half year..since light travel faster then sound,people appear bright until you hear them speak..If u can't convince them,confuse them
