    I love my Dinkey. I am owner of Mehran Euro II VX 2012. The car is a sort of legend in itself, I brought it brand new and have yet to visit a mechanic in three years although I have really been abusing the car by being very rash to it. The car gives me a mileage of around 16 KM/ Liter in Lahore city: A city with choking traffic and then, it touches 100 really fast on petrol, can pull upto 130 on highways and can squeeze through thin traffic lanes. Also, I hit the car a few times and it cost me nothing: for one accident, I had to pull out Rs. 600 and for another just Rs. 800.

    its is simply a student/ young employee's best friend. It's so cheap to maintain and I, with a daily travel of 40KM, can go with Rs. 2,000 in case of CNG and around 3,500 in case of Petrol. It is awesome and then add to that very super resale and can be repaired fom a place right across your dhaba.

    PS: My garage also includes my dad's GLI 2015 and another GLi 2010 but in those those, you got to be careful. This one's my off-road rash care-free ride. Just love it. I totally recommend Mehran as your city workhorse.

    I owned a 2003VXR CNG which I bought 0 meter in March 2003. I was in Karachi in those days and it drove well within the city. A/C was so so and mileage on CNG was fine. Then I moved to Rawalpindi and in summers here it would heat up if I used A/C. Suzuki authorized dealer could find no solution. Everything was fine with the A/C and engine but it would still heat up. So I drove with a wet towel around my head. Drove it to Lahore many times on GT Road only and at 29000km its timing belt broke some teeth and I was stuck near Dina. Since it was a Mehran so the roadside mechanic replaced the belt and I reached Lahore

    Sold it in 2006 after driving it for 36000km. A decent car for first timers.

    For people who own only one car and that being his front line car won't abuse it instead he will be careful who knows if he has to travel on it for few hours in case of emergency or anything related to office/home etc.You ave got two others standing in garage for emergency purpose so your take on the car is different.

    True bro, these little Suzukis may lack in comfort and safety but they have been a family pearl for many of us with long reliable and economical histories.

    Agreed bro. My point is that if my car is doing so well with rough use, it will be a gem with love being showered on it.

    If you can take your car to G-8 Islamabad, near sarya chowk there is Universal Car Ac owned by Mr. Abu Bakr, he is really honest man and charges less than market. Abu Bakr: 03009192687

    +1. He is one of those who actually knows what he is doing.

    Me and most of acquaintance get AC work done from him. He is very cool minded and polite too..

    @hs_342
    I did not fiddle with anything. I just took the car to Suzuki Motors in Westridge, Pindi and had them diagnose the pproblem. Everything was fine. It did not heat up at all without A/C and when I was in Karachi it worked fine there even in traffic with A/C and on CNG. Oh well, that was all 10 years ago,hope the next owner faced no issue.
