    Sweet lookig ride you got there,... seems like somone really put alor of effort into that ride.

    Also have you ever seen an Alfa Romeo Alfetta? It looks alot like your car and they used to be used in rallys and the italian police back in the 60's & 70's.

    I'm always looking for classics so if anyone has something interesting (pre 70's saloons or 60's-70's muscle) let me know.

    BTW, in Pakistan, a true classic can only be this one. I don't know whether you agree or not but there is nothing like this..... A Toyota Corona Mark II

I never beleived others but when I hit the Motorway one day I realized it can top its speedo..... 180kmh 'n still banging the limiter (that small dick kind of thing on speedo).

    @Salarzae, if your a big fan of MarkII, there is only one in Karachi with a original Paint and geniune condition (almost scratch less), but he is not interested in selling for even 0.6 million nor does he like to talk about selling it. BTW he also happened's to be my FIL )

    @Salarzae
    3C in a 86, I am surprised the speed didnot break, lol! Yeah I grewup in the Japs too and hard to leave old habits. Tried a Audi and VW Passat, In the beginning it is all good they make you feel all good and all. But then it becomes boring and I started missing my Hondas and Toyos.

    When I was young my dad was one of the first people in karachi to have 1974 120Y cherry Red Fastback. We (me & younger brother) used to love it coz it used to look like a sports car, lol!

    @kdiesel

    Well my uncle's FIL also has one and he bought brand new at that time, two of them. One got in accident by his son (young at that time). The other one is still with him in mint condition as they used to say. If u tell him to put in a diesel engine or do something other than genuine, I bet he'll kill u.

    @Racer

    A blast from the past, I hope u'll love to see these pix.

    I don't remember what they call it, but one of my frend from peshawar had one which said something like *2000. I don't remember that * thing. It was also a chery red.

    By the way I got one question for u, this time around when I go back to pakistan I want to buy a Honda Civic '95 and spruce it up. How about putting an H22A or F20A in it. Which one is better i.e, so that civic can withstand wieght 'n power of it.

    @salarzae

    dude i am also classics lover.a big fan of Mark-II and Datsun 120Y. I agree with your advice to speedster_101 to look for Mark-II provided one is able to find in mint condition.my cousin was lucky enough to find 1973 Mark-II in excellent genuine condition (untouched interior and exterior and orginal 18R engine). He has installed CNG and AC and currently using it. consumes a lot of fuel though. i am restoring a 1981 120Y GL. which car do u have?

    @speedster_101
    yar Mark-II is another car that has an amazing ride and drive. I am a big fan however it has a 2 litre engine and unlike datsun 120Y it consumes a lot of fuel. so if u plan to regularly use the car then u have to bear with the fuel cost. also i am not sure about the re-sale. I know for sure that 120Y has an amazing resale value and demand so no problem reselling it.

    Yaar markII is a big car.My father had bought that car in 1978 when he was a flying cadet but sold it after 2.5 years due to heavy fuel consumption.At that time fuel was not so costly but now every thing is infront of you. i want everday use car not a show piece.we have 2000 model limited khyber but i want my separate car bcoz all the time someone has taken that car outside and i want a car on which i can go to university everyday which is 46 km from my home(23 one side)

    Go for a 1975-77 2-door corolla..that is a sweet looking ride or yet another option is a 84-86 2-door charade in petrol with CNG.

    If u want better fuel and loox, try to find a good example of Toyota Starlet. You'll love it. Black with some chrome addition will kick ***!
