Hi,
I am facing mechanical sound problem with my mehran which is only 2 months old. I visited the dealer workshop and got my car checked. Mechanic said its the sound of "Kamaniyaan". I think this is the right word. according to him this sound always come in Mehran specially in winters or if you get ur car washed. But that sound is really disturbing...can someone tell me how to fix this.
kamaniyaan?? I think its the "missing" problem you are saying.. in the mornings the car jerks alot when on cng.. give it a little race and warm it or pull the choke for a minute or two if in a hurry.. all of us mehran owners go through this.. or the best option is to get it tuned.. i got mine tuned and now it starts like a charm in the morning without any noise.. All this said if the problem is of missing.. i dont know anything about kamaniyaan.
get them greased. if you go to the fire brigade (front side - facing main road) to the 10th shop down (roughly) there is a suspension guy who is very good and i'm sure he'll help you out. should cost around 2-300.
For future reference they are called leaf springs
^opps i forgot to mention that, i always forget to translate stuff,... which gives me an idea.
^^^ I know u did(H)
Thanks for your responses. That really helped. I'll get the Leaf Springs greased at the earliest.
and thanks for telling me the word.
No problem. Any time(B)
thanks for the word i did not know that too :)... i hope when he visit that shop # 10 wala guy he would'nt say leaf springs ko greasing kardoo
Well, there's a trend to rip off baabus (leaf springs guys) so we stick with local terminology knowledge of which is necessary if you want to tell some mechanic about it.
Thanks for updating my vocabulary though. Cheers.
