Default Starting Problems in Mehran 2005

    Hello every one,

My vehicle, Mehran CNG 2005, takes extra few seconds on starter and then shakes badly unless I press accelerator pedal for at least first 5 minutes. If in initial first minute I pull my foot from accelerator pedal then the car will turn off again and again. Could any one please suggest what could be the problem?

    Thanks in advance.

yeah, mine does that too until it warms up. i use the manual choke to control it. just pull it halfway and it'll steady the engine. alternatively, u can give it more gas by opening the gas screw a little.

    hello!
    possible due to many things...
    Ignition COil is weak...
If car is on point type contact so check its gap...
    Incorrect Air/Fuel Mixture might cause..
increased plug gaps..CNG requires 0.6mm to burned out....
set Idle RPM...when car was cold...
check also that car does same on petrol or not...

Thank you all for your feedback.

SER_GTR! Yes the problems seem to resolve when I tried to start it on petrol. What do you think, how many things do I have to check now?

SER_GTR! Yes, after about five minutes of driving, these issues seem to resolve and I don't get any kind of shaking and also car doesn't turn off even if I pull off my foot from accelerator pedal.

SER_GTR! No, RPM seems fine, because there is no degradation in driving.

Mehran takes 5 minutes to warm up, we bought this car in 1990 and in winters we used to get it hot for 3-4 minutes atleast. It has no auto choke so keep that choke at half pulled when u need to get it on the road quickly.
