    Default Clutch Adjustment

    I just installed a new clutch plate , pressure plate on my Car Nissan Sunny 86 1.0 LX I am facing problem of jerking if I release the clutch in normal way it engages with a jerk(jhatkkaaaa) and I also hear a sound like (karrrrak) and if release it very slowly it engages smoothly I dont know why.

    I know the clutch needs adjustment but can any body explain this or has anybody experienced

    The jhatka is most probably because you're used to a worn out clutch. It'll take some time for you to adjust.

    @ Matin! What Bango has said in above post, I think that must be the case... You will take few days before you get used to this 'new' addition to your car ... I experienced the same issue in my car a few days back...

    @matin....What your mechanic is saying who fit your clutch and pressure plate???
