    Default City 1.5 steermatic vs Civic Exi (1.5) which car will win ??

    Dear All! this is just to seek your opinion. If there is a race between City steermatic and Civic Exi, which car will win?? both in acceleration and top speed. We are a group of people discussing over that. most of the votes are in favour of Civic Exi, in fact one of them is civic exi owner too. Only one persons says Steermatic can smoke civic exi because of light body and better engine technology though both are 1.5 L. But most people can't believe that a Civic can lose against a City. So what you people say??

    Yes,
    the suspension in I-DSI are Steermatic are the same.
    To improve the braking and road grip, Steermatic is equipped with 15" low profile tyres.
    I-DSI ,s stock tyre size is 165/80/13
    Maybe the city you drove was running the stock tyre size.

    You cannot compare the stability of Civic with a City, not even with the old 6th gen VTI.
    I completely agree with you on this one.

    would definitely love to hear the results, my own experience of driving steermatic says that steermatic should stay ahead considering its manual mode and seven forward gear box
    The RPM does not fall below 5 and the car shifts its self at 6.5 RPM on manual mode. it should be a good race

    @daniyalahmad

    Sir you are right, the tires were stock, 185/70 R13.

    @devilzz1

    Sir a CVT remains a CVT, no matter what name you give it and how many ratios it has, shift at 6,500 RPM will be not very useful since its peak power already arrives at 5,800 RPM.

    @mubeenshahid

    Sir if you are talking about straight line, EXI manual should have an excellent driver with a good clutch, else its difficult, in real street racing or highway driving there is no match for a Civic's chassis balance.

    Well really don't know which car will take the lead, but one thing is for sure that both cars produce exactly 108.62 hp at 5800 rpm and do 0-100 km/h in 9.5-10 seconds...City may win because of its better power to weight ratio...Civic is also a powerful car and can also win if its properly tuned and the driver is also skilled

    BTW you did not mention whether your VTI is 1.6 or 1.8. The 9.5 sec time is for 1.8 and I never said that steermatic can take on 1.8 civic
    sorry for going off topic
    R18 civic is a 8 second 0-100 car..9.5 is too much..in normal conditions it goes from 0-100 in around 8.5 seconds max

    @incognito and others, I am available this Saturday / Sunday... with my slight CNG cylinder weight handicap. Let's counter this by putting a teenager in your car
    Most cars in Pakistan are twin turbo. Turbo 1=Turn AC OFF. Turbo 2=Switch Car from CNG to Petrol
