    AoA,
This is my first post. I have just finished a 10 day course with a driving instructor and now intend to buy a car. It will be a used car coz I know I'll bang it many times in the first few months. There are two offers (Santro 2004, 4 lac and Suzuki Khyber 1996, 3 lac). Are they good offers? I think the Khyber is a bit expensive. The person told me that cars on internet like pakwheels are mostly by dealers and might be accidental. What is your opinion about this. I'm looking to buy a car between 2 to 3 lac in good condition that requires minimal maintenance or trips to workshop. Which one would be best?

    Regards

Go for Khyber -- cause if you bang it, the repairing cost will be low, and all the parts are easily avialable.

but in case of Santro all is opposite to i just quoted

Consider Mahran as well. You may use it for 6 months, bang here and there, and sell it without any loss. Go for an older model, preferably not in genuine paint so it won't lose any money upon you hitting it and getting repaired/repainted.

Don't spend more than 2.5 lakh.

Khyber 1996 is way tooo expensive for 3 lacs, so please don't even think to buy it. You can easily find 99-00 Khyber in that amount.

Or you can also find a 2004-5 Mehran for 3 Lac as well.

Ill recommend you buy some car which is cheap to repair, like I learnt driving in a FX.
    Nothing to see here.
