Default Need Reviews for Nissan Sunny 2010 Super Saloon

    Dear Pak Wheelers,

I need help in getting some reviews for Nissan Sunny 2010 Super Saloon. The main attraction is:
    - ABS
    - Air Bags
    - Automatic Transmission
    - 1.6 ltr engine
    - Price similar to GLI

I have consulted a couple of friends who are using Nissan Sunny and they seem to be very happy with the car. I need some more, unbaised views in order make the right decision.

Note that this is family car. No CNG, No racing, no show off needed. I need safety, economy, comfort and peace of mind. Moreover I am going to keep the car for at least 3 years...

    Appreciate your comments..

I personally find nissan very outdated interms of styling however it does offer very good value for money. I'd say go for it if you are not concerned about the resale factor. There are many satisfied customers of the said car in Pakistan.

spoke to a few mechanics, nissan sunny, corolla and civic users, you ca find nissan genuine parts from nissan rawalpindi and nissan islamaad and honestly speaking speaking, genuine parts for nissan are much cheaper in terms of money than corolla or civic, plus this car provides more luxury, economy and reliability as compared to other sedans in its class.
these are the points which i gathered when i was about to buy a new sedan ...
    happy buying

Spares are easily available and are not very expensive.
We had a couple of them in our family and all are satisfied.
Its very comfy and spacious and there no comparison with rolla.

    Built quality is very good.

Thanks for the input. I have given good feedback by Nissan Users.

If the car is so good, why is it not successful in Pakistan?

Nissan Sunny is the car for you.
Its way better and luxurious then a GLI,
Its design may seem a bit outdated but its one of its class.
The sad part is that this is one of the most underrated cars in Pakistan.
One of the most difficult things in the world is to know how to do something, and to watch without comment, somebody else do it incorrectly.

one biggest reason, pathetic marketing by Nissan gandhara...... they only tell diamond is made out of coal but never tell how shiny the diamond is.... this is ma personal experience when i went to buy one in their showroom, i mean i was interested in 1.6 auto tranny while that person was telling me theres no difference but tranny and rims... i knew more than him about the car so let alone the marketing and selling skills of gandhara... i mean what else do you expect from a company being headed by a political family.......

second reason........ our mind set... we can not think anything beyond toyotas, hondas and macdonald's........

If you can afford it's parts then go for it. I've driven it and its drive and quality is seriously comparable with Civic. Its worth the buck.

Styling is the only factor people don't buy it. Go for it as your requirements will be totally fulfilled. I have driven it some times and drive is somewhat comparable to a Civic. Its seats are really good and cabin spacious. One of my uncles has it and their travel to their pind is almost twice a day with 6 foot gujjars in it and it has survived that beating for 4-5 years.

    Exactly!
Another thing is the resale value.
Our people over here, when buying a car always keep in mind the factor that how much money will this car fetch after 3 years or so.
Or should I rephrase it as that they are more concerned about resale rather than comfort.
So that is another reason for Nissan,s faliure in Pakistan.
One of the most difficult things in the world is to know how to do something, and to watch without comment, somebody else do it incorrectly.

    Dear Pak Wheelers,

As summary I can only see the positives of this car. The only negative point is the resale. But overall its worth the safety, comfort and price.

    Thanks for help

its a reliable and decent car. If you look at other offerings in the market, its a good deal as well.
