    Default Engine Suggestion

    Dear buddies,

    I own a 1996 Toyata Mark II, 2.5 L turbo diesel. I am interested in swaping its diesel engine with petrol engine. could you guys suggest which will be best engine for it keeping in view, the drive which is a mixture of pleasure and economy. I hope you grooz will help me out.

    If you can afford to run it on Petrol I would suggest swapping a 2JZ-GTE (Supra) motor in it.its 3.0L Twin Turbos and LOTS of fun

    for economy 4afe 5afe or 7afe but they are 1.6l 1.5l 1.8l
    if not 2jz-gte is the boom or better 1jz-gte 2.5l turbo

    man go for 1jz=2.5l 6cyl and 2jz=3.0l 6cyl for ecomomy and pleasure
    keep away from GTE versions

    yup gte is not for eco, 1jzge is a good option but1jzge wud lack a bit of low end torque if the car is heavy enough. 1jzgte would be a better option but if ur not very much into racing cen then 1jz ge or 2jzge are the best 4u

    Totally right. An acquaintance of mine is using 2JZ in his mark II already and is having excellent mileage because bigger engines provide you with good stable speeds while exerting lesser effort. If floored the non GTE versions provide with good power too.

    1jz-ge...dats best for u..

    Final I had 3S FE (2000 cc, 4 cylinders, 130 Hp and 18.5 Kg.m of torque). My ride had become awesome giving me excellent mileage long with driving pleasure. Thanks buddies
