Dear Members,
I have mehran almost 21,000 KM clock. I tuned it from Suzuki guy who tuned it well by advancing its timing and using RPM meter. The car is running good in pick and fuel consumption. Most of the time the car is drove within city on CNG. But when I am on motorway, I drive it on petrol with same advanced timing.
I come to know that it consumes more fuel if driven on petrol with advanced timing. This is carbi car with no RPM meter. I can't see exact RPMs. Should I go to mechanic and tell him to set it on Petrol by retiring the timing and then I mark distributor for both advance and retire timing so that I can unscrew it and retire timing to petrol when I go on motorways and advance it to the mark when I use it in the city.
Please tell me is it good practice?
Regards.
