    HAy fellows i need your ideas about daihatsu charade 1988 that which engines are best for it .. and which are worst as this is a light weight car and some people says that toyota 16 valve 1600cc is not good etc.. i want to know some perfect machines for this model . kindly list if you can..

    Sir the original CB23, 3 cylinder 1.0L non turbo is best.

    If you want more performance the 1.3L HC with 4 cylinder is good, stay away from the Turbo.

    Else try the Suzuki G10 for economy and reliability.
