Default Need help buying a car

Well I will be going to Saudi in a month and there is a SLIGHT chance we may buy a car there if I decide to study there and not come back. In that case I need help with what car we should buy?

Previously we had a 1993 E280 Merc, and now I'm considering buying a similar car again or an S class 1192-1995 models. Thing is my father says the Chevrolet Lacetti or the Grand marcus/Crown Victoria is better ;/

    1) So first I need help on this, a Merc S Class against an american airliner like a Cadilac or Crown Victoria? In my opinion the S Class will be MUCH better, the american cars may be bigger but they have horrible interiors, not very powerful and turn like boats.

    2) What Merc should I go from these models and why?

    E300 W124
S Class W126 like the 500SE or 500SEL or the 320SEL etc etc

    __________________________________________________ _______________

And can anyone give me any ideas to convince my father to buy a Merc and not an old American car

Your father is right to an extent.

Where a chevy's or a ford's regular maintenance (oil and filters change) would cost you around 2.5k pak rupees, similar for a mercedes would cost you almost thrice if not more.

It would be far more convenient to help you out, Maybe If You Mention Your Budget!
and the maintainence might not be as cheap comparatively to pk as over there most of the times you have to go to main dealership for parts other than routine service for a car that old!

why dont you opt for Japanese new cars (mid luxury vehicles)

this might help you a lot, check this site its like the ebay motors of ksa!
