I have a Non CNG Corolla 2009 XLI Driven 7122 km to date. When I tried to sell it the best offer I got was 1275000/-

Then I dropped the idea, If you have enough money laying around to get a new GLI or a Civic. Then do sell it and upgrade your car. I, for one am not n favor of selling such a less driven car and getting a used car in the same price but I know some people might differ.

Sir MashAllah very nice and well kept ride you have.

My brother had a September 2009 GLi in same color, stolen, never recovered, white color is a very risky buy in Corolla, in Karachi.

You can easily get 1200K Rs for your car in Karachi, more in your city.

After that you can buy a GLi 2010 for 1400K or a 2004 G Corolla 20-28K driven in good condition, also a 2009 City A/T for 1300K or lower.

If you can make your budget higher you can buy a 2006 Axio X for 1688K Rs. 12-18|K driven or Altis Cruisetronic SR 2008 for 1800K or a Civic Oriel PROSMATEC 2009 Petrol driven 13-19K for 1750K.

    Regards

@Roadkill. Thank u so much for clearing my confusion. I am starting to think on your exact lines.
@959, yar dil tor dita. 12K for such a nice car. Atleast u could have written 12.5K. May b the market has fallen so low, I don't really have an idea. Thanks.

If a new XLI costs 13 lakh, I would rather go for a new one than pay 12 lakh for used one...

I am thinking along 12.75K. The only reason I might sell is coz the trafic in Hyderabad has become so chaotic tt U can't drive even in 3rd gear. Its only 1st or 2nd gear that a big car can b driven. For small cars it isn't so, coz when u r in a small car u can wiz by, no fear of motorcycles or rickshaws or anything.
So members suggest me a small car........

I am also of the same point.
Even if I don't have a penny more then 12K. I will prefer to go for new and arrange the remaing amout through some loan.
    Others may differ.
this is mainly because I am not an Expert and cannot find the hidden catches in a used car, and paying extra for new because of that.
When it comes to millions thousands don't matter.

So dear fellows a new car after all just doesn't cost 1300K

my cuzin sold a xli 09 jan 25k driven in june for 13.15 lakhs only cng was installed and it was lhr registered. So you can get 1300k bcoz its sindh reg so value gets low early than punjab.
You can buy a corollla axio but its very difficult to find it in even 17lakhs for a good condition car.You can buy a gli for 14 lakhs.or get a prosmatic vti 08 for 15 lakhs.

Default From 12.25 to 13.25 lakhs

    bro
in rwp/slamabad the price you will get will be from 12.25 to 12.5.
this model can get you 13.25 lakhs easily in Khber pukhtoon khwa.
here the people only want corolla.
sindh no is a bit less liked than KPT or punjab over here. even then you will easily get 12.5 to 12.75 if you park it in a good show room.

Your vehicle is in excellent condition. Should fetch you somewhere in the range of 12.60-12.85.

Yes dear you are absolutely right. no doubt about that and I wish you get the maximum for your car.
I just quoted that comment that I agree with that in principle. and I have already said others may differ.
New is surely costing me 1395k in Islamabad,
I brotherly wish that you keep it for at least a year otherwise you will have to face some unwanted loss

    As for the price
keeping in view the model, being XLi and condition which is also outstanding I think 12.5 should be a fair price.
