^ Everything still comes at a cost-- and since this is the "first" model of "its kind" its bound to have some issues. Its a given. The 7th gen was relatively problem free because it was basically an improved 6th gen. The same will be true for the 9th generation Civic.
and bro civic will never get any closer to accord as its a different class
That is actually not correct. With each generation each car goes up a bit in class. The Accord moves up, the Civic moves up as well. The Civic currently is very similar to the CL9/7 in engineering. Especially if you look at the 2.0L model with the K20A engine.
but durability is what we demand for 2 million i believe...don't we
I agree but the more complicated cars get, the lesser this statement holds true. Don't forget these cars are designed in Japan, North America and Europe. They're really not designed for our roads neither do they undergo any modification to make them more suitable for our roads. They tried that on the last generation Civic (the 07), the suspension was jacked up a good inch and a half as compared to the international model... what did that result in? A bumpy suspension!
