This cool air intake systems typically works by absorbing air from the surroundings into the car where in turn the colder air is transferred to the engine. So this is normally within the bumper or anywhere closer to the front of the vehicle. Now what is the work of the cold air? Here's the logic: cold air is denser as compared to warm air and thus it tends to expand more when heated. As a result, the engine witnesses a greater combustion which in turn results in more power as well as little usage of fuel.
