Default Plan to replace City 2008 iDSI with City 2010

Hi All, I am planning to sell my City 2008 and get the new City 2010. Just wanted some suggestions on whether this is a good decision.

What are the added benifits in City 2010 other than VTec engine and ABS? Personally I love the shape of City 2010 but find the interior of 2008 City better.

    Thanks.

as an owner of 2006 iDSI City and 2010 City i wuld say go for it without hesitation

it is a better car in each and every way
looks more sporty and interior looks better only downside is the low quality plastic used for dashboard and door panels

on the plus side its Faster and has about the same Fuel Average + Real Time Fuel Avg is displayed as u drive along

Electric Power Steering makes it a joy to handle and definite plus over previous City
Brakes r significantly more powerful and AC Performance is also much better in comparison

also the Clutch is "Light as a Feather" literally

^^ As far as CNG is concerned I've heard both models of City are good at CNG.

    i dont understand though
if it has EPS why does it go very light when the car is revved to high RPM
this is typically the case in Hydraulic Systems tht high RPM means more power to the servo system

i culd be wrong on this though

    @PGhasanJ
bro its not like that if u rev ur car the hydraulics get power and make it more lighter but while driving the higher the speed would be steering would get harder according to that speed so that u can feel the speed and dont steer the car too much that could lead the car to get unbalanced.

    Thanks everyone for the responses....
@Wrangler: You are right bro. Must post more often :-)
Ok, so as with evreyone who is planning to go for the new 1300CC class; I am also being suggested Toyota GLi. I am more confused now.
Being a relaxed driver I dont really want my car to be that speedy. But I want a comfortable and smooth drive.

Sir City 5G all the way, even the boot is larger then the older one which was already in the league of previous Accords and Camry.

    Just change the tires.

Its good but i beleive that iDSI gives a better fuel average then the newer 10 model. But since you will be driving on CNG, the difference is really minimal.

If you want to run your car on CNG then Toyota Corolla Gli is not a good choice as I have heard from a lot of people that new Corolla is not good on CNG.
Also a CNG mechanic was telling me that Honda City iDSI was far better on CNG as compared to the new City.
Members having both the cars on CNG can tell you better.

i am an owner of city 05, when new shape city came out many of my cousins purchased it and when i drove it i was impressed a lot. the steering is lighter than idsi city which also has eps. the car is quieter and the boot space is excellent and best in class.
the engine in new city is superb no other word. the car is quick and feels solid than i-dsi city.
so my recommendation is to go ahead and buy the new one. i am also planning to do the same for some time.

    its not tht man
i understand EPS goes harder with Speed which is the case in New City

but in First Gear and 5000RPM in iDSI City the Steering becomes like water
while the car is only doing barely 40km/h

maybe it does not have Variable Assist like New City

You own the car and you don't even know that it is having hydraulic power steering or electronic? Never opened bonnet of your car?
nope it just magically changes the water in the Battery without me needing to open the bonnet
