    Default Towing Techniques

Guyz today my BALENO broke down at baloch colony so my driver parked it under newly constructed bridge opposite city school and then when i returned from University i went there with another car SUZUKI EVERY and we towed it to our house which is 3kms away
guyz the job was a real hectic and both cars literally jerked whenever we came to a halt n moved again.........baleno is 1300cc M/T and EVERY is 660cc A/T
U may also some times would had experienced this situation or may experience this in future(god forbid).......
so what do u guyz suggest ??
how to tackle this type of sitation????
Is there any specific technique to be used while towing a car through another car M/T or A/T???

Dude, hope you drove EVERY in Low Gear (L).
Next time use a powerful Vehicle to tow a car.

    Use Low Gear in A/T.
Its mainly used when you need engine braking or more power. so if your towing or have a heavy load going up a hill, if you shift down your engine's RPMs will go up and you will have more power. Also when going down a hill when towing or with a heavy load, the engine's RPMs will go up. So if you leave your foot off the gas when rpms are high and going down a hill, you will have engine braking. this means that the engine will slow down the car because its at high rpms but your not giving it gas, so it naturaly slows down.

no issue of power in it.u need to streach the towing cable.both drivers have to concentrate on the towing rope.soo keep the speed balance.keep the speed lower than 20 kmph and the driver in the front car have to wait for the cable streaching once cable streached then maintain a speed.its the time of nerves.never go hyper in this kind of situation.apply breaks when needed avoid unecessory breaking.

And also turn on Hazard Lights of both vehicles.

To avoid jerking simply maintain tension in the tow wire.

jerking has some negative effects on the towing car (the car which is ahead n towing the disabled vehicle)?
