Caltex coolant +2 bottles distilled water cost around 2k so NASA's cheap price has gained my attention only if its geniune and not bull crap like pyro, osaka bla bla

Coolant comparison NASA vs OSAKA vs DK vs GS vs ZIC - 1217456d1372778037 need experts opinion nasa coolant photo0178
I was initially going to test it before using it
You could get ZIC or Fuchs both come pre-diluted and ready to use
    LiquiMoly is another option

Recently I went for Rust Guard Coolant Rs 180/ Bottle. Its red in color. Met its manufacturer/owner/inventor as well. had a nice chat. he was an experienced chemical engineer with Industrial Experience. He himself had developed it and was very confident about his product. I am using it for the past one monthin my alto and khyber. working great. as i have a new gaskit and radiator in both my cars. Its a new product hence only available at Mukka Chowk & water pump market in Karachi

Sorry to quote such an old post but i wanted to know what type of acid to use while flushing, the ratio of acid to water and what type of shop to get it from ?

Thanks for the help. Few more things. Do i have to run a solution of baking soda afterwards to neutralize ? And for how long should i run the acid solution ? Can heated up acid in the cooling system damage internals or rubber hoses ?

top up with same colored coolant as color of coolant indicates specific ingredients in it.and to fill in reservoir bottle,it is recommended to fill by pure coolant not diluted.

Its actually water that cools your engine. Always fill in coolant diluted atleast 1:1
I once made the mistake of filling in fully concentrated coolant, oh boy! I ended up two days later wondering why my ac stopped working on an open road. Ten minutes later i saw the temp. needle and i was astonished man! The needle was at 75%. MY thermostat valve was stuck. Well, i got it replaced and then filled in caltex coolant diluted 1:1.

Anyways, i learnt it the hard way. I'd never reccomend this to anyone,

dilution depends on the brand of coolant that you use, some come prediluted and others are concentrates

You fill the reservoir with what you put in the radiator. a mix of coolant/water. Make sure you know what you are buying, if the coolant is ready to pour then dont add water.
