bro coolant dont increases temp limit, pressure does...

plus both bottles were kept in freezer with same conditions, like both were opened from their faces, bottle caps were on but inside seal was broken !

Brother no offense to you, it is just discussions fro me, for you, and for other members.

What, exactly, does Antifreeze do in a car? - Yahoo! Answers

in fact every liquid have different boiling points and freezing points, the water boiling point is 100 Degree c. while the chemical formula of coolants and antifreez or such that there boiling points more than water (100c) and freezing point are less than water just because of its chemical formula.

    Thanks.

    Umm.

Coolant DOES change the boiling and freezing point of the liquid. Your own NASA coolant test proved that. I dont exactly remember but if one extreme point (i.e. freezing) is changing than so will the other (i.e. boiling). Something about thermal capacity.

If NASA wont freeze in your freezer, which is obviously below 0c ... it wont boil at 100c either.

After CRACKED experience of nasa. I am also willing to switch to nasa. Do't know whether DK is as good as nasa or not? Anyone know?

These NASA, OSAKA etc. are effective for SHORT life, sooner decompose and lose their power. but work for a month you can say. in summer might be lesser.

genuine coolants are costlier than per litre engine oil even. not for fully synth.

Well as per my experience, in the usually available stuff nothing beats Caltex.

Ive seen them put on cars with small radiators such as Khybers etc ... turbocharged cars, both stock turbo and aftermarket ... stock cars.

That coolant is awesome. Its expensive but if you want an year of sukun, Caltex is the way to go.

Till now i think the rating is going like this

    1st prize to Caltex
2nd prize to ZIC, TOYOTA, HONDA
    3rd prize to NASA
4th prize to all other coolants

but i think more replies will clarify the positions in more bright way. so keep the ideas coming.

    Thanks

you should get caltex only from caltex outlet at their petrol pumps, don't even get it from the most reliable shop, because you will never get it better than caltex own outlet.
