    I will try to be honest, no Honda vs Toyota fights plz..........

    The good:
    1.wide space , rear seat space, driving position, digi space (can fit 3 average size dead bodies and has light bulb.) ...... all exellent !!!

    2.breaking, shifting, turning all like butter (well breaking is some what terrifying when pushed hard like some one shoved dunda from road but it stops very quick ,, always think someone will pop me from behind)...... cant get batter then that(in my opinion).

    3.head lights, player, windscreen wiper, side mirror, all excellent.... loved it!!!!

    4.air noise and other out side noises are pretty much controlled.

    5.road grip is good.... driver doesn't feel the turning force much.. but rear seat passengers rolls side to side in every turn.

    6.original tires are good ... no breaking or turning problem .....

    7.air conditioner blower is powerful .....

    8.steering is very soft and gets stiff at high speed

    The bad:

    1.first of all Toyota Pakistan suxxxxxxxx !!!!

    2.No keyless entry ( 1.5 million rupee and no keyless entry= toyota suxxx)

    3.sound system is............ i think there is no system its just 4 cR@py speakers poping due to player output.(don't like the quality)

    4.car is very silent in slow..... but after 100km/h +++ the combination of road and engine noise suddenly pops up , didn't like it (i think cus car is supper silent in slow.....).

    5.pick is poor (doesn't have a kick when i need it ).... comparing to my suzuki baleno 1.3L.( but gets very good after 3500-4000 rpm..).

    6.my dad corolla 1.8L gives 9km/l in city and this 1.3L gives 12.7-13km/L... (not good for 1.3L)

    noise is not much its just more then in slowspeed. not in the bad way...

    and dude pick is less as compared to my cng fitted, 1999 model, japan assembled, 154000km driven baleno... if i race with gli ... baleno will lead till 100-120km... after that it losses power.. but gli gets kick after 3500-4000 rpm.[/QUOTE]

    Baleno ka size dekho aur Corolla ka size dekho, Baleno obviusly has an edge on the weight to engine size ratio.

    Plus Balenos engines more responsive, While Corolla has more acceleration. in initial gears
    Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

    which tires are best for comfort and grip??

    @chinyoti yaa acceleration is great but when its above 3500-4000rpm..... the thing that im missing is,,,, lil push when car is in 2nd gear and on 1000rpm.... baleno has that push....

    @coolwarriorisl thats good thnx....

    It has good acceleration on high speeds but 0-100 baleno will be fast.

    @haseeb114

    Well I have not changed tires of my GLi yet. I am planning to change them after 20k kms. My uncle changed tires of his XLi just after the delivery and he installed Dunlop's (don't remember the exact name). They were a bit silent than the stock EuroStar tires. I didn't tested that XLi on high speed but the noise was less on low speeds.

    I shall go for Yokohama A drive or C drive inshaAllah. There is a thread in the wheels and tires section about selecting appropriate tires. "I am Tires Guru" something like that. You can post your query there and hopefully you will get the right answer.

    thanks and regards,

    Go for Yokohama dB Decibel 195/65r15. using them in my Civic, they're awesome tires. almost no road noise
