    Default Japanese Alto 660CC Feedback from User Needed

    I am considering to buy Japanese Alto 660CC, and looking for a specialist advice on the following.

    1. Is its a good value for money
    2. Spare parts
    3. Engine vs Body ratio
    4. Performance

    Better to go for local version of ALTO with CNG version.
    In japanese version will be alot of problems in future if you plan to keep it for long time.
    Japanese Alto is 660cc so if you plan to use it on petrol then its okay but on CNG if u are carring 4 pessengers then its underpowered.
    Body parts availability is also an issue and are hard to find.

    no problem dear but considder few things. i have kept 2 of them but had below listed problems......

    • It should be manual Transmission (auto say bacho warna pachtao ge)
    • its good for 2 person ...maxi 3 person. (will not perform very good)
    • Rear shocks and springs are very smooth so cant afford load (you have to change it).
    • Check it with care if car engine is knocking (petrol) on cng engine do not knock.... it is non fixing problem dear. ( i have spent 25k on it but in last i slod the car)
    • Interior is 100% better than paki, smoother, breaks ABS, Air bag, electronoic steering, power windows, central locking and EFI engine.
    • its complete engine with manual gear is availabale in market Rs 27000.

    So from the above feedback on Japanese Alto 660C, its much better to go for Coure Automatic version as I need automatic transmission.
    Any way thanks for the quick feedback.

    No man, JDM alto is way better than the local ones. The 660 latest efi engine is cent percent powerfull than the local one which is 30 years old.
    The engine is so compact that it doesn't need anything but you have to keep it on petrol all the time, if you install CNG consider it gone.


    I don't know why is Nasir complaining about Auto in JDM alto, I prefer the auto as compared to manual. If you use an auto, you should not care about pick anyway.

    Don't consider it over-power, it is extremely powerful as compared to local shitty alto and cuore.

    Just dont install CNG on it, you will be adding extra weight on it with a useless gas. The milage is already quite good and Petrol will work just fine.

    Some how JDM Alto is the only JDM car which ive seen in worst conditions. There arent too many nice ones.
    Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

    Can you explain pls.

    I think it is only our mentality regarding the 660 engine. I have driven one for like two years ( the old model with 660 CC ) and was over-satisfied unless I installed CNG and ruined the car.

    I am confused with conversation i.e.
    Japanes 660 Automatic Alto is crap & automatic is no good
    Japanes 660 Automatic Alto is only for 2 people
    Japanes 660 Automatic Alto is no good on CNG
    Please experts share the right experiences

    Ok i have the solution: do you have anyone one in your family or friends who have 660alto. just try it for 2 days with possible options. like

    4 persons and 100 km/h speed in auto!
    if cng then drive it in auto it will be a drag
    If petrol then do check the knocking engine carefully.
    manual is better as i have installed in other car too.
    I have no intention to misguide you.... just sharing my experience.
    I had 2002 Alto -2007 recondition in petrol, i sold it on a family member... he installed cng after 4 months but in 2 months it was a crap and ready to change its engine. plus with no power. in comparison i have used manual its out standing in power, economy and even in cng. i have also installed 660 manual in a Fiat 1966 model with i am restoring. will share its pictures soon

    as salam walaikum,

    guyz i have been using alto 660cc for last 2 years and its masha'Allah great ride..
    recently i got a issue with radiator fan its not turning on automatically and need some kind of internal sensor or switch (according to my mechanic) thats not working anymore... right now its direct
    any idea or suggestion ??

    Brother go for jdm alto. I've driven one for a week, and its just too good. Like great economy, excellent ac, good brakes, performance is good for 660cc. Great comfort for such a small car. And better have auto trans, but please, you dont need to install cng. Cng will just kill the fun. Bought it for my brother in law, and he is very setisfied with it. The one one thing which i really appreciate about jdm alto is its economy. That is where it is much much better than any pkdm alto. But talking only about petrol. Having nice interior as well. Good quality interior. Nice and comfortable seats. Having air bags as well. But the problem is, you have to look for a neat car, dont hustle buying one.

    i dnt own 1
    but its pretty much common sense....660cc auto and cng will never work
    plus 660cc cars are meant to be driven in speed ranges of 60-80km/hr for best results
    Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....
