    Default H22A in DC2 Integra ?

    i have this 1998 DC1/DC2 integra ... i tried my best to get a b18cr for it but none in pak... i can source it from dubai then again its min requirement is 97RON and in peshwawar we dont have hi octane...so i am only left with options of H22A

    190 bhp (142 kW; 193 PS) at 6800 rpm; peak torque 152 lb·ft (206 N·m) at 5500 rpm with a Compression ratio of 10.6:1.

    should i go for it ...

    the tranny i am getting with this engine is of F20B engine..manual tranny...


    suggestions please!

    b16 is sold gone.. b16 is a good engine but lacks torque

    u can build B16 head with B20 block n its H22 killer.....which dc integra u have? silver one?
    My lugnuts require more torque than your Vtec can put out...

    yea i know about b20vtec..but i prefer something that came from factory plus am getting toooooo old to spend my time at workshops salik

    yea its silver one

    best for integra is B-series as u know if u goin for h22 u need to change the mount too....u can go for blacktop B18c 185hp but again u need to source it out or order from abroad....beside u getting H22a with F20b tranny tht not factory spec too

    i know i can source b18 series from uae / malaysia.. redtop ones need hi octane..... mounts are no issue they can be locally made for 2-3K... plus finding spare for b18 series in pakistan is also kinda difficult........
    there are many people with dc2/dc1 in states who installed h22a and are quiet happy...they prefer it over b18c and b18c1..

    Shah jee as far i knew you already paid for b18 and it reached torkham border 2 weeks back.....why change of plans now? I'll recommend to stick with b18 it won't bug you much with low octane. Plus you can get your teg filled with hi-octane once from isb and it can easily be fine for you for atleast a month or two.

    blacktop b18c which is 180HP (JDM) aka gsr engine ...there is one for sale asking 200K ... 180HP with less torque.....

    Janab Shiekh Sahab.. getting b18cr or any engine is not an issue.... the issue is now hi octane.. same reason i had to sell my porsche boxster sheikh sahab...
    you know i even dont goto isb for buying the cars..lol... petrol tu dour ki baat hai sir jee.

    sir...this hi octane is the only thing stopping me to get itr b18

    Its still somewhere on border in some container.....i didnt pay the chap as he is our company's client....the guy is not here too..maybe i ll pay or ask about it when he is back to pk...though i can earn some quick cash by sellin that b18cr in pak ...

    I can help you source a great condition JDM H22a with stock M2A4 tranny (rated 200 bhp and 168 lb/foot). This engine is very low mileage and not locally used. Im running a similar setup in my 97 civic but I have sourced an M2B4 LSD tranny which is again stock but very rare. Another tanny T2W4 is an accord LSD tranny which also fits the h22 but sucks big time because of its longer ratios. Beware of sellers who recommend this. Do check the gear ratios of the F20b tranny as it makes a HUGE difference with power. The M2A4 is a close ratio tranny which takes the maximum power output from an H22a. Any other tranny wont be half as good.

    @sammad .. how much its gonna cost to get that engine.. its that engine from a prelude si or regular JDM accord ?

    Bro this engine is from a prelude si rated 200 bhp and in mint condition. Accord H22s are rated 190 bhp. Ill get back to you on the price etc by tomorro.
