Exclamation Corrolla XLI 2006 fair price?

    Guys,

I am getting a Corrolla XLI 2006 CNG white approx over 70,000 kms done from one of my close relatives. The vehicle is in mint condition, with a slight usual touchup.

I'd appreciate if somebody could tell the fair price (or a price range) for this car.

    Rgds!

Sir if 875-900K is the market then a 04 XLi should fetch not more than 800K, which is not the case.

Good XLis are hard to find, especially of that mileage.

    Malik and 959,

Are you sure it should be upto 900k? I have been quoted a price of 970k while, generally, the market here is quoting above 1mn for the same model Xli.

Also, the car is a 94,000kms run 2007 model!

I did some math. may be that will help us create kelly blue book of Pakistan.

879K was the invoice price back in 2006. USD rate was 1USD = 62.00 PKR that makes 14177 USD. As of today fair USD rate is 86 and that makes it approx. 1,219,000. If we do 7.5%(keeping in view low depreciation factor in Pakistan) depreciation factor of every year, after five years the price becomes 892,422.00 PKR + registration fees in 2006. that makes it 920,000 approx.

    So , its your call.

I must admit: You are brilliant! Being a highly qualified finance guy, i never came to correlate it like that!

However, if we take a more conservative approach, the fair price comes far below 920k whereas after much negotiation, the actual offer is 960K. So i am back to square one! Help?

I think this car has good reputation and good market in the world but second hand rate will be depend upon the his condition and how much it will be used, It's quite important...

    It all depends on condition.

I sold my white XLI without CNG 6 months back. No dents no scratches whatsoever. Done only 23,000 km for 10.3.

I gave an ad and asked 10.3 It sold for 10.3.

Other friends here said 975 would be resonable.......but do check the newspaper and go see the cars........you will understand what type of cars are on sale and in the condition they are in.

Saying you will get car nearing 920 is not right. If a known person is selling you the car nothing is better than that.
