Default Civic Reborn, a bit confused

I am planning to buy Civic Reborn 2008 prosmetic, but a bit confused whether to go for Oriel or not. Oriel costs around 40-50k higher. But I have heard that it has a good resale compared to plain Prosmetic. Is it true? And also advise the colour though my personal choice is black.

One reason I am reluctant to buy Oriel is sometimes the sunroof rubber packing malfunctions and leakage problem in rainy season.

if your budget allows you to go for an Oriel then there is no point in opting for a I-vtec pros. over oriel for a monetary difference of 40-50k... i would suggest you stay away from black if you do not have a driver or a guy who washes the car every morning coz black only looks good when it's clean, other than that white and silver are the best colors resale wise plus requires alot less maintenance. Btw who told you that there are leakaging problems in oriels? we have been buying Hondas for the past 11 years and not even a single one of the oriel's moonroof had such problem .

If you are buying then go for the best! Buy the Oriel Prosmatic! But personally I don't like black colour so its your choice!

Dear Mr Wasti. It's "alloy" rims, not "allow" rims. As for the side mirror indicators, I think their protrusion renders them the most vulnerable to cracks & breaks. In CF5 model, Civic Oriel was a 100 cc higher than the EXI (1500cc vs 1600cc). Now there's no difference between iVTEC & Oriel drives. The difference remains ornamental (or musical, if you count the 10-CD changer). So suit yourself. I gave up on black (& all dark) colours years ago when I found out how tough it was to maintain them.

I have 2001 orial prosmatec and have never faced any problem with sunroof/moonroof... Aur leakage ka to kabhi suna na dekha. If you have budget, go for orial. You will get company fitted alloy rims, door mirrors with integrated lights, sunroof, electrically retractable sidemirrors, keyless remote entry, in-dash 6 cd changer, passenger and driver airbags and foglights... add the resale and you wont even think of buying i-vtec.
My honest opinion, go for ORIAL!!!
How happy is the blameless Vestal's lot... The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind... Each prayer accepted, and each wish resigned...
