    Default Corolla 2004--- 100,000km Checkup!

    My Toyota Corolla XLI 2004 recently completed 100,000 km...The car is not giving me any problem...The engine and other things have never shown any signs of problem....SO i want to ask that should i go to Toyota 3S Showrooms for 100k km checkup!
    I asked from them on telephone and they were saying Rs 30000 -45000 lagen gy for maintenance work....Should i go there or they are just thaguu people...
    ya bus timing belt replace krwa lu??

    plz share ur opinions and experiences!

    if ur car is not dealership mantained y go now
    i think ur car does not have a timing belt, has a timing chain(hope someone re confirms)
    Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

    yes no timing belts in the nz series engines. timing chain.

    if its running perfect and you drive it like a normal sane person then I would suggest to just get all fluids & filters changed, and a complete visual inspection of stuff in the engine bay. Dont let em fiddle unnecessarily with your car.

    you do not need to change that belt(chain). At max you can just get it realigned(tightened). And i will strongly suggest do not go to the authorized dealership. just get the chain tightened and the two belts changed along with the fluids and filters.
