B18 daily driven - A/C, workable but would you like it?

the B series engines shine when you gun them to redline - and when they are bouncing the redline - they are swigging fuel faster than a jet.

btw - they are very scarce in Pakistan now - as every tom, dick, harry, freddie, mama, chacha, dada, dadee, nana, nanee - has transplanted a B16 or B18 into anything that resembles a car.

Your best option would be to talk to someone who imports engines - and buy one complete with tranny and electrics - it would land you about more than 120,000 dented to your wallet

Im going for A/C because sometimes the summer heat is unbearable.I will be driving it in a normal way and would be hitting the redline on the track. The car will be a civic EG or EF.A good engine would cross even 150k and it would not be a problem for me.

good - then go for it, the A/C is pretty simple to connect up to your original car - the compressor discharge pipe only needs to be made from scratch.

The ECU wiring would need to be done properly for the A/C compressor to engage along with the automatic idle control the IACV provides. Run the original compressor that comes bolted to the B series engines - as the engine is a high rpm engine the compressor is matched to it, putting in a sanden would be bad news as it would not like to be spun to 8000 rpm.

b16 when tuned on wideband on lower cam(before vtec) can result in a much favourable economy while still maintaining torque in the lower rpms, tried and tested on a k24a2 similarly. Just need to know the lean limit of afr
    knowledge is horsepower
